DRAINAGE CONNECTIVITY
SURVEYS

At PES we undertake a large number of drainage connectivity surveys. The survey to verify a drainage system is used to prove connectivity and flow routes and is undertaken on sites for reasons such as re-development, verification of utility company sewer mapping and sewer ownership.

Our survey operatives carry out these surveys as a multi-skilled crew combining our CCTV, Land survey and manhole survey capabilities on one single van hence giving the client a value cost solution by cutting out the need for individual survey crews on a single site.

The survey results are normally output as a digital AutoCAD connectivity drawing onto a supplied base land survey. In the absence of a background site land survey we are more than happy to undertake a site survey prior to commencement of the connectivity survey. The site works involve the use of dye testing, sounding between manholes, rodding, radio sonde detection and portable CCTV to verify connectivity.

Depending upon client specification we can incorporate manhole surveys and CCTV inspection within the scope of works and final report output.

CASE STUDY

PES were commissioned to undertake survey works in order to prove the drainage network connectivity on an industrial site at Fleming Way Crawley.

A background survey map was supplied and marked up with the drainage connectivity.
